By Aden Tate I was rereading a bit of None Dare Call it Treason the other day, and came across Public Law 87-297. This law was passed back in 1961, becoming US government policy. You can read the law here. It was later repealed (it looks like in 1991), but I think there are some important takeaways here. This law literally created a US Arms Control and Disarmament Agency that you've probably never heard of but will cause a lot of current happenings to make a lot more sense once you're aware of its existence.
