Two White House doctors Dr. Anthony Fauci and Dr. Ashish Jha urged Americans to get injected with the new bivalent booster designed to target the omicron strain of the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19). Their calls came as only 11 percent of Americans aged five and up rolled up their sleeves for the new injections. Fauci, the chief medical advisor to President Joe Biden, called on Americans to get the shot as soon as possible during a Nov. 22 briefing.
